Just another Latex experiment.

I did some more sketching of Fiona's head and I'm pretty much going with this.

My brain is fried! I am SO not motivated to draw anything today. ...so I made myself anyway. I wanted to toon her a bit which is why her head is larger but her body is the same. I'd would have fixed it but sleep is much more important right now.

Here is my character for a comic concept that I am doing that is more naughty than nice. :)

Well I do drawings before the baby wakes up and I do drawings before I go down. I played with a photo for about 40 minutes...now I'm going down.

I was supposed to do a sexy pinup for Brutmagazine.com and I came up with this. I got paranoid because my initial sketches were sexy--in that Jenna Jameson kinda way--so I scrapped it for the more innocent looking pic here. We both agree I need to bring sexy back.

Well a gentleman at Deviant Art told me I couldn't draw Kiva with a big butt. ...I won. :) I've never seen this character before so I have no idea what she looks like normally with the exception of my two ref. pics.

I drew Kandi like three or four hours today. I think my issue has been getting her to look sexy (yet borderline trashy/Brittney Spears) and still not slutty. Slutty is easy, the previously mentioned is another matter. :)

Started looking at the Yeagle books and started sketching.

Hey, look at me. Another post before I let three months go by. Guess those Zig Ziglar tapes are paying off. LOL Not. Another attempt at my girls...still got a little work to do.

I usually try to cram quick sketches in before the baby wakes up. I had a few minutes to myself and so I decided to put some color on a gesture drawing I did.

It's been a while since I drew the Chicas. Since I decided to take them mainstream I want them to be a little more animation influenced. This is the first pic I've done from start to finish digital so maybe that's why I crapped out and did the same old same old. I drew them with too realistic proportions (which is how I drew them before). I colored it because I wanted to make it a looser style than I'm used to. ...didn't do that either. Maybe next time.

Sketched it in Photoshop, inked it in Manga Studio, and colored it back in PS.

This was a commission I colored. It was too cool to finally color something other than men in tights for once.

Well after a little playing I finally found some interesting ways to use the smudge tool. Not a true "good" example, but the best one can come up with after midnight. :)

I've been studying a lot of fine artist in an effort to be more colorful--pun intended.

Sometimes digital can go towards your benefit, sometimes it can go towards your demise. This color study was living proof of the latter. I kept repainting the water cause I couldn't connect with the color. I'm tired of this. Excuse me waitress, another round please.

I did this pic a couple of weeks ago. After I inked it, I thought it was blah. The puppies came out cute in some places, but still....blah.

Do I have a thing for redheads and not know it? Anyhoow, I've been playing around with adding an animation flavor to my style. Actually I've been playing around with it for a while, this is the only pic that proves it. LOL

This is sad! I just looked and my last blog update was nearly a month ago. Whoa!!!! Oh well, this pic is just an experiment in color.
