I did this sample for a Valentine's Day promo. I wasn't sure who to draw so I used my wife in this caricature. I almost felt like doing this as a surprise to her after I finished but then I'd have to do another sample....
On another note, I totally stole this palette from Serge Birault (Papa Ninja on Deviant Art). He painted something in these hues not long ago and I kept it in mind when I painted this. If you've never seen Serge's work, check it out immediately! He's amazing.

Last night I went to one of my favorite eat spots. I generally expect two things when go there, I expect the lady who is usually there to be wearing a low cut shirt, and for the food to be amazing. She's cute and has great boobs, but I have no idea why she looks pissed off all the time. I dunno if it's because the food is good or if she figures with huge boobs, why should she smile.

This is for my friend Ken Austin's book Haven Knights #2. I did a bit of a silly cartoon of Kyra in the first book. Actually I just did the cartoon but he added it. When he asked me to do an image I told I'd be "serious" this time. I didn't know what I was going to do, but if it includes a snake, it's gotta be serious.

I was bored yesterday and had to draw something. This is a sketch of a lady I saw at the Scottsdale Polo Tournament two weeks ago. She looked exquisite in her outfit and in her posture but when I saw her on the dance floor her inner diva was born. I always love working the polo tournament because the ladies wear some great outfits. Although I was caricaturing at the event, I may go next year and just do some sketching.

This was my warm-up sketch today, I posted this on my Facebook pages so I figured I'd post it here too. I thought about having the rat pull down her blouse but I made this for Facebook so my intent was to keep it PG-13. Had I been thinking I would have done a separate (and more perverted) version for my blog.
